Suarez ban: FIFA are 'a bunch of b******s', says Uruguayan President

In his latest outburst at FIFA over Suarez's ban, Uruguayan President Jose Mujica has called the world football governing body as "a bunch of old b******s" in a TV interview, as reported by "The Independent" newspaper in the United Kingdom today.

Suarez, the Liverpool forward, was handed a 9-match ban and suspended from all football-related activity for 4 months for biting Italian defender Giorgio Chiellini during their FIFA World Cup 2014 match last week. The player has returned home from Brazil since then and was received by President Mujica. He had strongly criticised the ban and now gone further in attacking the officials at FIFA.

In an interview to Uruguayan TV, Mujica said: "We can take sanctions, but not fascist sanctions." When asked, "What does this World Cup mean to you?", Mujica replied "That FIFA are a bunch of old b******s." "Following that remark the Uruguayan president immediately covered his mouth with his hand," said the report in "The Independent".

When asked "Can we broadcast that?", Mujica replied "Broadcast it, for me," the report added.
